Recover Unread Mail Folder

Problem

Deleted the Unread Mail folder in Outlook

Solution

Try the following If you have Outlook 2007:

1. Right click Search Folders and select New Search Folder
2. In the new window that appears select Unread Mail and click OK

Or if you have Outlook 2010:

1. Select File from your menu bar, then go to New and select Search Folder. You can also press "CTRL," "Shift" and "P" at the same time to open the "New Search Folder" box.
2. Select Unread Mail under the Reading Mail section of the dialog box.
3. Click OK to finish restoring the Unread Mail search folder
